Simplicity: Google Versus Yahoo

05_yahoogleIf you look at the 1996-2005 time line you will see that Google has changed little in 11 years. Yahoo, which is mainly based on directory navigation has added various colours and numerous stacks. Multimedia rich content such as videos, and photos have equally been added. Now if you look at Google... not a hell of a lot has changed. Looking at Nielsen Net Ratings it is very interesting to see Google as the most visited portal in the US on the week ending October 22, 2007.

There is much to be said about keeping things real simple.
