So why is it that nothing like this comes out form the CES in Vegas? I am not especially a MAC fan but geez they know how to get the message out there.
It has been less than 24 hrs since i have received from apple my new itouch ipod and confess that it rocks. The user interface is awesome and makes me want to use my old ipod only because it has twice the storing capacity.
16 gb is not very much but for first generation I can live with that. The wifi works really well and i am writting this post directly from my ipod. I just wish my fingers were less fat! The youtube function, safari browser, link to itunes store and photo gallery are extremely intuitive. The video display is excellent which makes me want to take my own vids/pigs but this ipod does not have a camera. Perhaps the next gen will? This device is very user friendly and i am sure we can expect to see new hand held devices with this type of interface.
Ps. It would be great if it had a spell check feature for my fat fingers.
After having spent 9 days in Mallorca, and having tripped around various cities I was amazed to see how connected people are on this island to the internet. I was even more amazed to see that in many places most of these connections were absolutely FREE! This was true for hotels, restaurants, cafés, and many places where the general public can congregate.
Free Wifi is really the way to go. Monetization of this service could easily be done through advertising or offered to clients of an existing brick and mortar business as an incentive to buy their products/services. Internet should be made available to all and at no connection cost and without discrimination.
I could eventually imagine a charge for people who want an extremely fast connection to the internet and I am sure that many people would glad fully pay for this service.
I saw this clip again this morning from sarcasticgamer.com. It is truly well done.
Here is the original Video.Would you buy one of these?
